Ghana Police Under Fire for Detaining Blogger Beyond 48 Hours

According to a police statement on November 20, 2025, Amadotor was arrested for allegedly publishing false information about former NCA Board Chair and traditional ruler, Okatakye Boakye Danquah Ababio II. The police say the journalist has admitted to the offence and is expected to be arraigned before a court on November 21, 2025.
